Experienced instructors from the Des Moines Jazz community will team teach these groups in regular rehearsals throughout the year. Combining literature from the tradition as well as new compositions, students receive a complete exposure to the experience of the large Jazz ensemble. Concerts in local and regional settings provide music for the public while giving the students the performing experience of a professional group.
